After the painting, I can finally get to interior finishing. This is mouldings, baseboards, fixtures, little bits of final electrical. Most of this is work I puttered away at myself, but once again, I am so lucky my brother is not only a great carpenter, but also a nice guy.
Terry and Roger came over one day and hung my very heavy fire-rated interior door, and trimmed all my windows and doors. This not only saved me a huge amount of time, but they did a much better job than I possibly could have. I spent several more evenings and weekends on the rest, and came up with a good solution for dealing with the base row of block. At this time, I was also able to get my final electrical inspection done. The final finishing touch was some custom curtains from mom 🙂
