I realized that the vague plans I had for wireless networking really weren’t going to work. Solutions were rare and expensive for the distances I had to deal with. Even though I didn’t want to do it, it was looking like hardwiring a network between my studio and house was going to be the best option.
In the end, with the help of the trenching machine I rented, it really wasn’t that bad. It was mostly done in a day and a half, and the costs weren’t that high. In the end, I have a terrific network between studio and house with wireless zones in each.
